If you are no longer in full time employment and live in Sevenoaks or the surrounding area, we can offer you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of enjoyable social, mental and physical activities.  Our membership has grown to over 750 since we were founded in 1994 and new members are always welcome.

Science activities at Sevenoaks u3a continue to flourish, offering members an engaging mix of talks, visits, and hands‑on exploration.

Pickleball

This new group is now meeting weekly on a Monday morning at the Weald Church Hall, and would welcome some more players. 

Want to walk?

Walking Group 2 meets on the second Friday of the month and would be pleased to welcome more members. We usually walk 4-6 miles in the morning followed by lunch in a pub.

A bridge between the ages...

There is something unique about a student explaining tech to an older generation. In our recent Phones, Tablets & Computers workshops, the connection between our u3a members and Sevenoaks School sixth formers was almost instant.

London Studies group visit to Charlton

MEETINGS AND OTHER EVENTS

The Monthly General Meeting is an open meeting, which all members of Sevenoaks u3a may attend.  It offers a chance to meet others, hear a speaker who is an expert in a subject of general interest, as well as enjoy refreshments.  There are other open meetings each month, details of which can be found on the Open Groups page. National u3a runs a regular programme of Online Events which are free to attend.
