If you are no longer in full time employment and live in Sevenoaks or the surrounding area, we can offer you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of enjoyable social, mental and physical activities. Our membership has grown to over 750 since we were founded in 1994 and new members are always welcome.

Art - Painting 2
This new group has been meeting in Sevenoaks on the 1st and 3rd Thursday mornings each month. It is now well established with a mix of ability from beginners to accomplished amateur artists. They share tips and techniques in a friendly and supportive atmosphere and would welcome new members.
Local History Studies
Are you fascinated by the heritage, buildings and stories of our local area? Would you like to explore this further through individual research, group talks and field trips? We’re thinking of starting a new group to do just that; email groupdev@sevenoaksu3a.org.uk if you’re interested.
Highgate Cemetery
On yet another sunny summer morning, on Wednesday 15 July Graham Lacey led a London Studies 3 group trip to Highgate Cemetery. The party travelled by the full range of public transport (i.e. train, underground and bus) as well as a short walk through the pretty Waterlow Park. From George Eliot to Alexander Litvinenko, the cemetery is packed with famous figures of the distant and not so distant past. Click the link to read all about their wonderful outing.
Evening pickleball!
In addition to its regular Monday morning games, the Pickleball Group has now started playing from 7pm on a Monday evening. This is a more competitive workout session and more players are welcome. Click on the link to watch a video of an evening game.

MEETINGS AND OTHER EVENTS
The Monthly General Meeting is an open meeting, which all members of Sevenoaks u3a may attend. It offers a chance to meet others, hear a speaker who is an expert in a subject of general interest, as well as enjoy refreshments. There are other open meetings each month, details of which can be found on the Open Groups page. National u3a runs a regular programme of Online Events which are free to attend.
