Members take it in turn to deliver a talk usually about 30 minutes long, which is followed by a general discussion on the subject of the talk. We meet at the offices of Otford Parish Council, which are opposite the main car park in Otford next to the school.
The talks focus on financial issues. Recent talks have included how the concept of money has evolved over the centuries, the cost and sustainability of our system of pensions, inheritance tax, the inequality of income and wealth between different classes of people and between nations..
The group would like to recruit one or two new members.
